Design principle of large stamping drawing die

1. The dimension is stable. During the forming process, the surface of the plastic part in contact with the stamping and drawing die has better dimensional stability than the part leaving the stamping and drawing die. In the future, due to the need for material rigidity, if the thickness of the material changes, the male mold may become a female mold. The dimensional tolerance of plastic parts shall not be less than 10% of the shrinkage rate.

2. The surface of the forming part, within the scope of the packaging of the forming material, the surface structure of the visible surface of the forming part must be formed in the contact part with the stamping and drawing die. If possible, the smooth surface of the plastic part must not be in contact with the surface of the stamping and drawing die. It’s like making a bathroom and laundry room with a female mold.

3. Geometric shape design, dimensional stability and surface quality should be considered comprehensively when designing. For example, the design and dimensional stability of the product require the use of a female mold (concave mold), but the product with a high gloss surface requires a male mold (punch mold). Therefore, the forming order party considers these two points in a comprehensive manner, so that the product can be Produced under optimal conditions.
